Listing & Selling Questions:
1. How do I list my car for sale on BIDR?
Use our simple 3 step vehicle submission form to enter basic information and provide pictures of your vehicle. Within 2 business days our team will provide a determination on your vehicle, if approved we will gather any additional information we need by email before drafting your vehicle listing and sending it to you for approval and scheduling.
2. What information do I need to submit a vehicle?
- VIN number, year, make, model
- Odometer reading, vehicle history, title status
- Modifications or additional notes
- Any relevant service records or documentation
- Basic Images
3. Can I set a reserve price for my vehicle?
Yes, you are welcome to request a reserve price. You can lower your reserve at any time once your auction goes live.
Buying & Bidding Questions
How does bidding on a vehicle work?
Bidders can place a bid anytime on a live auction. Bidders must have a valid credit card on file as an authorization is placed on the card for the buyer’s premium of 4% at the time of bidding (minimum of $250 and maximum of $4000). When an auction ends the hold placed on all bidder’s cards is released apart from the winning bidder, at that time their credit card will be charged a 4% buyer’s premium.
Our bidding process is transparent and secure:
• All auctions run for 7 days
• All bids are binding
• Credit card holds are placed during live auctions to prevent fraud
• Sniping protection: If a bid is placed in the final 2 minutes, the auction is automatically extended by 2 minutes
• Winners are notified immediately after auction close
